5 excellent places to grab brunch in Dublin 7
1. Cotto, Stoneybatter
When it’s not busy serving up arguably the best pizza in Dublin 7, Cotto is busy feeding the hungry mouths of Dublin 7 with black pudding sandwiches, frittatas and eggs. Since it opened its doors earlier this year, it’s become the place to be for ladies and gents who brunch.
Drop in and see why for yourself.
2. Slice, Stoneybatter
You won’t get a dirty fry in Slice, but you will find an array of breakfast treats — muesli, fancy porridge, spiced carrot and walnut pancakes. Its take on a ‘full breakfast’ features chickpeas, chorizo, eggs, and red peppers. Did we mention they have cocktails? They have cocktails.
And when you’re done, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with one of their signature cake slices with a cup of 3FE coffee. Divine.
3. Wuff, Benburb Street
Wuff’s brunch menu has something for everyone. Suffering from a crippling hangover? Their full Irish will sort you immediately. Consider yourself a bit of a foodie? Perhaps you can sample their black pudding and halloumi salad.
It’s comfy, nicely busy and the food is ace. Win win.
4. Oscars, Smithfield
Craving some good old-fashioned brunch? You’ll find all the usuals in Oscars — French toast, waffles, poached eggs and the like. There’s also more hearty fare like Philly steak sandwiches, burgers and chicken wings.
*drools*
5. Cowtown Café, Smithfield
And finally, there’s Cowtown Café, a newish addition to Manor Street attempting to ape traditional greasy spoon cafés. And doing so quite well, we might add. If you fancy something that’s affordable, not fussy and delish, Cowtown Café comes highly recommended.
